Alice, our SaLT

This is Alice, she's our Speech and Language Therapist

Hello, I am Alice and I am a speech and language therapist (with… quite a lot of experience, over 30 years!). I am passionate about working with early years practitioners to help the language development of all young children.

If we all know a bit more about how language and play develop, and share ideas about what we can do, then children will have the best communicative environment around them. Often it is about our level of confidence isn’t it?At the EYSWSPH, we are offering a range of workshops, training courses and setting support visits to help you with this. I am a “bonus” extra SaLT, which means I can be here for you to ask questions or chat something through.

Young children are such fun to spend time with, but it can also be challenging, so we want to value you all and the role that you play. We will also be offering support to those of you who work with 0-2s as this is such a key time in language development.

So do get in touch - you will find I get excited about lots of things, including rabbits and Victoria Wood, but most of all, I am inspired when I work with you. I can’t wait to meet you. Look out for our video blogs too!
