MEANINGFUL LEARNING THROUGH CONNECTION, COLLABORATION & COMMUNICATION 

A 2-part accredited professional development programme supporting inclusive practice through SchemaPlay.

WHO IS THIS FOR?

Early Years practitioners working with: 

  • Babies and toddlers (0–3yrs)
  • Children with additional educational needs aged 2–5yrs (SEND). 

All provider types welcome (PVI, schools, childminders) Priority will be given to settings from areas of higher deprivation. Practitioners will be accredited with Bronze & Silver SchemaPlay Awards

WHAT IS SCHEMAPLAY?

SchemaPlay is an evidence-informed, inclusive approach that helps practitioners:

Tune into children’s repeated patterns of play (schemas) Strengthen communication, self-regulation & executive function Build meaningful relationships and inclusive environments Develop inclusive approaches to supporting all children ' s learning Identify how they can support other practitioners.

 

We are running an in-person training session for Chldminders on a Saturday in July 2026.
