Overview:
At Northern Lights Early Years Stronger Practice Hub, our vision is to support early years settings to improve outcomes for children across our region through high-quality, evidence-informed practice within the EYFS.
Working as part of the Best Start in Life agenda, we are committed to helping children thrive by supporting practitioners, leaders and settings to deliver the highest quality early education and care. We provide a wide range of Stronger Practice Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programmes and targeted support for settings through our Stronger Practice Adviser Programme, ensuring that practitioners have access to professional learning and bespoke guidance that meets their individual needs.
Working closely with our partners and local stakeholders, we deliver an expert-led offer that is informed by local intelligence and responsive to the needs of the communities we serve. Through collaboration, we support practitioners to develop and embed evidence-informed approaches that make a positive difference to children's learning, development and wellbeing.
Our Hub operates a blended model of support, combining face-to-face hub activity, online webinars, professional networks and communities of practice. This approach enables practitioners and leaders from across the early years sector to connect, share expertise and learn from one another, regardless of setting type or location.
A key aspect of our work is developing strong cross-sector relationships. By fostering collaboration and creating opportunities for meaningful professional dialogue, we are working towards a shared goal: improving outcomes for the children and families we serve.
Through networking opportunities, bespoke support, high-quality professional development and the sharing of best practice, Northern Lights Early Years Stronger Practice Hub aims to build a confident, knowledgeable and connected workforce that can deliver the very best start in life for every child.
