Generate Early Years Stronger Practice Hub is part of the Department for Education's national Early Years Stronger Practice Hubs programme. We support the early years workforce to improve outcomes for children through evidence-informed practice, professional development, collaboration and system leadership.
Our aim is to ensure that every child benefits from high-quality early education by helping practitioners and leaders access the latest research, effective approaches and practical professional development opportunities.

We work with childminders, maintained nursery schools, school-based nurseries, nursery classes and private, voluntary and independent (PVI) providers across these local authority areas.
Who Are We?
Evelyn Street Primary School is the designated lead setting for Generate Early Years Stronger Practice Hub. Evelyn Street Primary is the Lead school for Warrington Primary Academy Trust, who is the accountable body, holding the Department for Education grant and providing governance, financial oversight and operational leadership for the programme.
Evelyn Street Primary School has an established track record of educational leadership beyond its own setting. Alongside leading the Early Years Stronger Practice Hub, the school contributes to wider regional and national improvement work through its leadership of the Reception Network, its involvement in Teaching School Hub activity and its role within the Attendance and Behaviour Hub programme.
This experience enables the Hub to draw on established expertise, proven delivery systems and strong partnerships across education and early years services, ensuring providers receive high-quality support grounded in evidence and practical experience.
