Short Sparks from the HEART: Introduction to the Six Principles of Nurture

This 'Short Sparks' session focuses on the Six Principles of Nurture, offering an overview of how they support children’s development and well-being in early years settings.

During the session, we explore each principle and share information about our upcoming Nurture Network, launching in the Autumn Term (2025/26).

The Nurture Network will offer opportunities for practitioners to reflect on children’s development and communication, while exploring key priorities for embedding a nurturing approach within their setting.

Join our Nurture Network: Growing Together in Early Years

Are you passionate about supporting children’s emotional well-being and development through nurturing approaches?

Would you like to connect with like-minded early years professionals to share best practices, offer guidance, and spark inspiration?

We invite you to become part of our Nurture Network — a collaborative and co-operative space where practitioners come together to:

  • Exchange ideas and initiatives that challenge and inspire
  • Coach and mentor one another through every step of the nurture journey
  • Celebrate successes, tackle challenges, and grow in confidence and creativity

Together, we’re building a community rooted in trust, encouragement, and a shared commitment to improving outcomes for children.

Whether you’re just starting out or deeply rooted in nurturing practice, we’d love to grow alongside you.
