Our reception maths network is a dedicated space for reception teachers and EYFS leads to connect, share best practice and deepen their understanding of early years maths pedagogy.
The group will be led and facilitated by Nathan Crook, who is an early years specialist at our local Maths Hub. Key topics for discussion will include:
- Developing a maths mastery approach in early years
- Progression through the reception curriculum
- Supporting TAs in maths delivery
- Linking early maths to the national curriculum
