During this hands on session, you will:
- Learn about a wide range of open-ended materials and how they can be thoughtfully used within an atelier.
- Explore the purpose of provocations and how they inspire children's thinking, investigation and creativity.
- Experience the atelier from a child's perspective and gain a deeper understanding of how children interact with the space and materials.
- Observe how children use different media to communicate their ideas, express themselves and create meaningful learning experiences.
- Gain an introduction to the Reggio Emilia approach and discover how the environment acts as the "third teacher" to support children's learning and development.
