Interactive reading with Dini Beverage from Charles Dickens Primary School and Nursery

Interactive Reading

Following our training webinars on literacy, participants asked for a webinar specifically about interactive reading, a recommended approach for supporting accelerated progress in children's communication, language and literacy development. Here Dini gives us her top tips after having participated in the conversation project with East London Research School based at Sheringham. Dini is the room lead for 2-3 year olds at Charles Dickens Primary School and Nursery and has helped develop a curriculum rich in carefully chosen texts that are especially useful in encouraging children to talk about themes and ideas that are carefully woven into the learning experiences across the year.
