Evidence tells us that the quality of education and care in early years has the biggest impact on children’s outcomes within a childcare setting, particularly for socio-economically disadvantaged children. To support practitioners the government has launched new fully funded CPD training opportunities specifically aimed at the Early Years.
To attend any of the CPD Training Programmes, you must already hold a relevant Level 3 qualification in childcare.
Amy (Early Learning Lead for Maths) will be delivering a fully funded maths CPD Module to eligible participants across Suffolk and Norfolk, on Thursday mornings (10-11.30am) starting on 19th November. The aim is to upskill practitioners' knowledge, as well as further develop confidence to teach maths/use maths as part of everyday practice and routines. There will be 6 e-learning units to complete (taking 2 hours each), with 4 live seminars plus a Welcome session to discuss the content and answer any questions. The majority of seminars will be online, with the final one delivered face to face to allow for additional networking and action planning.
