This fully funded bespoke support is underpinned by coaching approaches, modelling of practice and opportunities for reflection. Support for one term, up to a maximum of 3 days per setting, for Suffolk and Norfolk Early Years PVI, childminders and school nursery settings.
Early Years Learning Leads will:
- Work alongside settings to gain an understanding of their needs and current practice.
- Provide coaching support to enable educators and settings to reflect on and improve their practice.
- Support settings to identify strengths and agree clear, achievable next steps based on their individual needs
Priority will be given to settings where there is strong evidence of need, such as a high proportion of:
- Children eligible for Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP).
- Children with Special Educational Needs and/or Disability (SEND).
- Children with English as an additional language (EAL).
- Children in Care or Children in Need.
