Our SENCo staffrooms are informal half-termly meetings to discuss practice, share ideas and provide support to early years staff in schools, settings and home-based provision.
Where possible, we'll find guest contributors, but the content of the meetings is very much driven by the group. There is also a SENCo WhatsApp group for day-to-day support.
Dates for 2026/2027 are:
13 October 2026 at 6.30pm
We’ll explore the types of SEND currently presenting across settings, discuss the support SENCOs are looking for throughout the school year, and share ideas and experiences of what is working well.
We’ll also reflect on how local authorities are responding to the ‘Experts at Hand’ initiative, providing an opportunity to share experiences, ask questions and learn from one another.
