Our SENCo staffrooms are informal half-termly meetings to discuss practice, share ideas and provide support to early years staff in schools, settings and home-based provision.
Where possible, we'll find guest contributors, but the content of the meetings is very much driven by the group. There is also a SENCo WhatsApp group for day-to-day support.
Dates for 2026/2027 are:
19 May at 4.00pm: This meeting is now a 90-minute webinar, designed for SENCOs in early years settings and schools. It focuses on young children and explores how to distinguish typical selective eating from early signs of ARFID.

7 July 2026 at 6.30pm: We will be joined by Tina Harvey who works for the "Whole School SEND" DfE project, which provides free webinars and structured CPD for schools. She will be signposting to training provided by Whole School SEND and NASEN (which provides training for PVIs and childminders). She'll also lead a discussion about the SEND reforms.
